I know how hard it is to think you could feel better without effort ... until you feel it. When I first experienced Awareness Through Movement®, I didn't feel anything until a few days later when I easily rolled out of bed. Then, I had the experience of rolling like a kid and then standing up -- feeling the freedom and inner power a two-year-old feels. Then, a few years later, I saw my golf swing improve, without trying.
Taking a first step forward - out of routines, isn't easy.
If you have aches but have tried many things without results or, if you don't sense aches or pains, you might feel -- why bother?

Lying on the floor can be even more pleasant since the floor now supports your head, shoulders and back as well as your pelvis. You have permission to take care of your self and bend your knees with feet on the floor and use thicker padding. Sitting in a chair even after experiencing lying on the floor -- doing nothing -- you can sense a difference sitting.
When you learn the magic of 'doing' less, and, stay curious to new ways for moving and being in the world, you have a tool for life.
